The City of Windhoek says no fatality or injury has been reported in the capital following Saturday afternoon’s heavy rains.
An unspecified number of vehicles were, however, swept away.
The municipality in a notice said its emergency management service received reports of flooding in both the formal and informal areas of Windhoek on Saturday.
