Elijah Ngurare has resigned from his role as deputy executive director in the department of water affairs at the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform to pave the way for his transition to parliament.

Ngurare was placed 26th on Swapo’s parliamentary list.

Swapo secured 51 seats in the National Assembly following the recently concluded presidential and National Assembly elections.
