Swapo presidential candidate Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has called on Walvis Bay residents to vote for the party.
She says the early history of the party would never be complete without mentioning Walvis Bay and the Erongo region.
Mentioning party leaders, including founding president Sam Nujoma and the late Nathaniel Maxuilili, at a rally at Walvis Bay on Saturday, she said Swapo is a party of workers and Walvis Bay was always an area with a vibrant workforce.
