The Namibia Water Corporation (NamWater) has responded to claims from the Namibia Local Businesses Association about contracts being awarded to international contractors.

The water utility says its decisions are guided by the need for technical expertise and adherence to the Public Procurement Act while prioritising reliable water services for Namibians.
