Namib Mills has signed an agreement with its workers, ending nine weeks of industrial action.
“It could have been concluded in a week. It is very unfortunate that it has gone this far, but what is important is that we have reached an agreement,” Namibia Revolutionary Transport Union commander-in-chief Petersen Kambinda said outside of Namib Mills headquarters on Wednesday.
Kambinda said an agreement had been reached and that the union had negotiated for 2026 benefits as well,…
