Swapo Erongo regional coordinator Daniel Muhuura said 8 February would be known as one of the darkest days in the country’s history, as Namibia has lost a liberation icon and leader.

Muhuura said that the late founding president Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma led with unwavering commitment and perseverance towards the liberation of Namibia, and will never be forgotten.
