Presidential economic advisor James Mnyupe has left his role after five years.

Mnyupe was appointed advisor in 2020 during the term of former president Hage Geingob.

A source confirmed this, citing that Mnyupe only stayed on for a month for transition purposes.

However, he will remain as the head of the green hydrogen programme.
