A 14-YEAR-OLD was allegedly raped by a 31-year-old man after being sent to collect a charging phone from a local shebeen in the Ohangwena region.
Ohangwena police crime investigations coordinator deputy commissioner Melanie Mbuuru says the incident occurred on Friday night at a shebeen in the Ongha village.
According to Mbuuru, the minor was sent by the complainant to collect the phone which was left charging at the shebeen at the time of the incident.
