President Nangolo Mbumba visited the site on Monday where a new rehabilitation centre for the visually impaired will be constructed in the Zambezi region.

The Liselo sub-khuta, under the Mafwe Traditional Authority, donated the land to the Eastern Namibia Visually Impaired Association for the development of the centre.

Mbumba, who is the patron for people with disabilities, appealed to citizens to treat those with disabilities equally.
