President Nangolo Mbumba says Ghana’s minister of foreign affairs, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, who has been appointed as the seventh secretary general of the Commonwealth of Nations, will steer the work of the Commonwealth brilliantly.

Botchwey was appointed during the 2024 Commonwealth heads of state and government summit, which concluded in Samoa on Saturday.
