A tragedy struck in Usakos as a 29-year-old woman, Lena Williams, was allegedly stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend. The Erongo police spokesperson, chief inspector Ileni Shapumba, revealed that the suspect, a 26-year-old man, unlawfully entered Williams’ house while she was out with friends. He waited for her to return and upon her arrival, he viciously attacked her, stabbing her multiple times which resulted in serious injuries. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Williams was declared dead upon arrival.
The suspect then fled the scene with their three-year-old daughter, heading towards the mountains. Fortunately, during the pursuit, the child was found unharmed.
