A 23-year-old man was killed in a stabbing at Swakopmund in the early hours of Sunday.
Erongo police spokesperson chief inspector Illeni Shapumba said the man, Angolo John Matokolo, was stabbed while trying to stop a group of men from damaging a taxi in which he was a passenger.
The incident happened around 03h30 on Sunday.
According to Shapumba, a group of six people went to a local drinking spot in a taxi that stopped in a parking area in Tamariskia.
