THE Ministry of Information and Communication Technology’s executive director, Audrin Mathe, has announced that the Independence Day celebrations and inauguration of the first woman president Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah have been moved from the Independence Stadium to State House.

There will be no public event held at the Independence Stadium as planned.

“This is due to extreme weather conditions that are forecast for tomorrow,” Mathe said.
