Namibian opthamologist Helena Ndume says she was never approached for the health minister position, which was given to Esperance Luvindao.

This is contrary to sources who claim Ndume turned down the position.

Ndume told The Namibian yesterday that any questions should be addressed to the appointing powers.
“I do not have any further comments on that,” she said.
