The Namibia Professional Hunting Association (Napha) has welcomed the government’s plan to donate the meat of 650 wild animals for drought relief.
The government, through the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism, has donated about 30 hippos, 60 buffaloes, 50 impalas, 100 blue wildebeests, 300 zebras and 100 elands to the drought relief programme.
These wild animals will be sourced from different government parks.
