Landless People’s Movement leader and presidential candidate Bernadus Swartbooi says hunger and poverty are a function and consequences of poor governance.

He made these remarks during the party’s manifesto launch at Rundu, in the Kavango East region over the weekend.

“Some of those that have created this human catastrophe are boldly stating on public that hunger should not be politicised, but how?” Swartbooi questioned.
