Swapo vice president Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah says history would condemn party members and supporters if they were to lose the Omusati region to an opposition party.

Speaking at a Swapo rally at Outapi in the Omusati region on Sunday, Nandi-Ndaitwah said Omusati is the birthplace of Swapo’s first president, Sam Nujoma, and the location where the armed struggle was launched 57 years ago.

According to Nandi-Ndaitwah, the region is Swapo’s home and stronghold.
