Namibia: Health minister elected vice chair of southern Africa ministerial committee – Africa Links 24 2

Health and social services minister Kalumbi Shangula has been elected as the vice chair of the Southern Africa Regional Ministerial Steering Committee (ReSCO).

According to a statement released by the ministry on Friday, the appointment took place during the third ReSCO meeting in Zambia’s capital Lusaka.

The ReSCO meeting was held under the auspices of the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
