The Namibia Meteorological Service on Tuesday issued a warning to the public on widespread thunderstorms that are forecasted to affect parts of northern-central and north-west Otjozondjupa, and the Khomas regions between 4 and 6 February.

According to chief forecaster operations at Namibia Meteorological Service, Odillo Kgobetsi, the severe weather is expected to bring flash floods in several areas, prompting urgent precautionary measures from government and local authorities.
