Bank of Namibia governor Johannes !Gawaxab will be leaving the bank a year before his tenure was supposed to end.
In a statement issued by the central bank on Wednesday, !Gawaxab’s last working day will be 31 December.
“The board of directors of the Bank of Namibia hereby announce the departure of Johannes !Gawaxab. His last day of service is the 31st of December 2025,” reads the statement.
