The Frank Fredericks Foundation has awarded scholarships worth N$85 000 to athletes who excelled at the Namibia School Sport Union national athletics competition in May.
Foundation spokesperson Suama Shingenge says the scholarships were awarded at the end of August.
“The foundation is deeply rooted in providing support to young talented athletes and ensuring that it helps make their goals possible,” Shingenge says.
