Former independent members of parliament (MPs) Paulus Mbangu and Likukela Busihu have retained their positions following Wednesday’s elections.

Mbangu is a Rundu Rural councillor, and Busihu is a councillor for the Kongola constituency.

Former Landless People’s Movement MP Harald Kambrude, who resigned from his party and contested as an independent candidate, retained his position as Rehoboth West Urban constituency councillor.
