Former Otjombinde constituency councillor Karii Marenga will be laid to rest at Okatuuo settlement in the Omaheke region’s Epukiro constituency on Sunday.

Marenga died aged 65 in Windhoek on 6 December.

The late councillor was at the helm of Otjombinde between 2009 and 2025 under Swapo and went on to serve the party as secretary general of the Swapo Elders Council in the Omaheke region until his death.
