The First National Bank (FNB) has donated N$100 000 to the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture for sanitary pads.

FNB retail chief executive Nangula Kauluma made the donation on behalf of the bank, saying that the donation goes a long way towards alleviating period poverty in schools.

Kauluma says the funds will be used to purchase 5 002 menstrual pads for pupils.
