The police say a security guard on duty allegedly heard multiple explosion-like sounds before being alerted that the Mondesa Clinic at Swakopmund was on fire on Monday.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services yesterday announced the temporary closure of the clinic after the incident.
Health director Anna Jonas has confirmed that no injuries or casualties were recorded.
