Namibia: Etosha Secondary pupil laid to rest months after drowning in Lake Guinas – News

The Etosha Secondary School pupil, whose body took months to retrieve after drowning in Lake Guinas, was finally laid to rest on Saturday.

O’Linn Nauyoma’s remains were recovered by sea divers in an operation led by the police and the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture.

Nauyoma (16) was laid to rest at Ohalushu village in the Ohangwena region.

Costs for the recovery of his remains were covered by the education ministry.

Nauyoma drowned at Lake Guinas on 8 September…
