The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) wants to hire 2 195 vehicles for use in the upcoming elections.
The ECN says it has procured 1 727 of 3 922 vehicles required for the Presidential and National Assembly elections on 27 November.
However, regional electoral officer of Kavango West Elizabeth Visagie says a procurement delay was caused by the government not being able to supply the ECN with vehicles.
