A team of polling station officers from the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) at Outapi are being investigated for allegedly attempting to steal petrol from a generator belonging to the commission on Thursday morning.
Omusati regional commander Ismael Basson says the operation went wrong while the suspects were pouring the oil from the generator into a jerrycan when part of it spilled onto the floor in the house of one of the suspects at Aimele 16 location.
