Onesi constituency councillor Festus Petrus says a “juvenile” crocodile was recently spotted at Etaka Dam in the Omusati region.
The animal will be captured and removed from the dam on Monday, he says.
He says this crocodile may not be the only one in the dam.
Speaking to The Namibian on Monday morning, Petrus said he and a fisherman saw the young crocodile lying aside the dam at Oshihau village on 3 January.
