Namibia: Controversial wig business announces closure, apologises to Namra – Africa Links 24

The Windhoek-based wig business accused of failing to deliver hair to clients has announced its closure.

Belv Hair owner Belvana Edward in a statement on Thursday issued an apology to the Namibia Revenue Agency (Namra) and announced the closure of the business.Edward initially blamed Namra after delays in the delivery of wigs to clients were exposed.

Edward says she is working on issuing refunds to all affected 190 customers, between 1 November and 30 December.
