The Alliance of Christian Churches in Namibia (ACCN) hosted a national prayer event on Sunday. This brought together various denominations and political parties to pray for peaceful elections and the blessing of rain in Namibia.

The event was hosted under the theme ‘Enhancing Participatory Democracy’.

ACCN spokesperson Dolly Nengushe said the event aimed to foster unity and peace ahead of the elections while seeking divine intervention on the ongoing drought.
