Award-winning comedian Innocent Shimwino (24), better known as ‘Blacksmith’, has turned everyday Namibian life and drama into a successful career in comedy.
Recently crowned best comedian of the year at the Best of Nam Awards, the content creator and performer draws much of his material from everyday Namibian life, human behaviour and the situations he says people often overlook.
Blacksmith says his upbringing has shaped his ability to find humour in difficult circumstances.
