The Oshana regional police are urging banks, security companies and the community to be vigilant of crime ahead of the festive season.
Oshana police regional commander commissioner Lungameni Sakaria says bank customers should be aware of scams.
He said this during a closed-door meeting with the banking sector and security companies at Oshakati yesterday.
He said this type of fraud is mostly perpetrated internally, along with international syndicates using sophisticated methods.
