A case of arson was opened after a fire broke out at the gender-based violence (GBV) protection office at Rundu on Monday.

Kavango East police regional crime investigations coordinator deputy commissioner Bonifatius Kanyetu has confirmed the incident, saying a police investigation is underway.

“All furniture, registers, official documents, and case dockets kept at the office were destroyed,” he says.
