Oshakati mayor Leonard Hango has announced the town’s N$350-million budget, highlighting youth employment, infrastructure upgrades and essential service projects.
He says the town council has employed 112 young people on a temporary basis to curb unemployment among Oshakati’s youth.
Hango announced the town’s budget at Oshakati on Friday.
He said the council paid temporary employees N$4,4 million collectively in salaries during the current financial year alone.
