President Museveni has sent shockwaves through Uganda’s security establishment by ordering three top officials to go on a six-month forced leave to pave the way for an intensive anti-corruption investigation.
The directive targets Lt. Gen. Joseph Musanyufu (Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Internal Affairs), Mr Aggrey Wunyi (Under-Secretary, Uganda Police Force), and Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Felix Baryamwitsakyi.
