Yahaya Mpindi retained the Genesis Juniors Pool Championship after edging Jonathan Ntwali 6-5 in a thrilling final that went down to the last ball at The Olive School, Namugongo on Saturday.
With the match locked at 5-5, Mpindi held his nerve when it mattered most, clearing the table to successfully defend the title he won last year.
The victory makes Mpindi the first back-to-back champion of the competition, which attracted 64 young players from across the country.
