The karate competitions took place from March 7 to 9 in Accra. Aya En-Nesyry won gold in individual kata, while her compatriot Fatima-Zahra Chajai also took gold in kumite (combat) in the -68 kg category. The 4 silver medals were won by Adam Rchouq (kata), Said Oubaya (combat/ -67 kg), the national women’s kata team, and Maroua Eddarhri (combat/ +68 kg).
