To celebrate Eid Al-Fitr with music, the Meydene theater at M Avenue in Marrakech is hosting two musical evenings. Organized in collaboration with the Marrakech Tarab Association, the first evening is scheduled for April 13th at 8:30 pm.

It will be dedicated to Andalusian music. At the heart of this evening, the audience will be carried away by the Marrakech Regional Orchestra, under the direction of the renowned Haj Mohamed Azzeddine. Together, they invite you on an enchanting journey into the universe of Andalusia, a magical place where tradition and festivity blend harmoniously. As for the second evening, it will be marked by a vibrant tribute to Marrakech culture. Scheduled for April 12, 2024, starting at 8:30 pm, this evening will be an opportunity for the public to be swept away by a rich and diverse cultural experience within the warm atmosphere of the Meydene theater.

It is designed to take the audience to the heart of the fascinating world of Marrakech’s musical heritage. The program includes a show that will begin with the art of Melhoun, a flagship of traditional Marrakech music, followed by “Lgorre”, an authentic musical genre that captures the essence of the local culture. Through poetic narratives, ancestral tales, and popular music pieces, the evening promises to be full of emotions and rich in discoveries. According to the organizers, tickets are available now. “To reserve, go to the venue or visit www.guichet.com,” they stated.
