From March to June, the agenda “Marrakech Al Bahja, Land of Inspiration and Celebration,” developed by the National Tourism Council of the region, offers a series of cultural events and festivals. Here are the highlights!

The ocher city, known for its cultural richness, is set to come alive with several events and festivals during this year 2024. Starting with the Ramadan Nights scheduled at the French Institute of Marrakech from March 12 to April 11, 2024. Through this event, the public is invited to celebrate music together during the holy month, a moment of spirituality and introspection. The public will be present at a spiritual evening on March 16, 2024 at the Meydene theater, with Ali El Madidi performing.

This singer, accompanied by the dance of Sufi whirling dervishes, will offer a concert filled with musical melodies and poetry celebrating the praise of the best of creatures and the praise of sincere love. Don’t miss the 12th edition of the Orange Blossom Festival. This event organized by the Al Muniya association will offer two days of festivities. The program includes Arab-Andalusian music, poetry readings by Ahmed Badnaoui, verbal jousting to celebrate the arrival of spring, and a public distillation ceremony. On March 22, 2024, the Sidi Belabbas Dar Tifl association organizes a solidarity dinner for orphans and children in difficult situations who were victims of the Marrakech and Al Haouz earthquake.

Also to discover is the comedy show by comedian Zouhair Zair, scheduled for March 26, 2024 at the Meydene theater in M-Avenue Marrakech. This comedian will immerse us in subtle and incisive humor with his show. Also, on the comedy side, the legend of comedy Eko will present his show “Lhoob” on March 30, 2024 at the Congress Palace of the Mövenpick hotel. Each month, the city welcomes a world-renowned storyteller from a different region of the globe. These storytellers have two main objectives: to explore the rich storytelling traditions of Morocco and to share the stories of their own cultures. Fashion enthusiasts will not be left out with “Caftan Week” scheduled from May 9 to 12, 2024. This famous event is back in a new form, transforming the ocher city into a cultural and artistic hub.

Beyond the traditional Caftan 2024 fashion show, this year’s edition promises a unique immersive experience with a rich and varied program, combining exhibitions, fashion shows, master classes, and many other cultural events. Another event not to be missed is “Music Day,” scheduled for June 21, at the French Institute of Marrakech. This event offers a rich and varied program, showcasing a multitude of talented groups and artists invited to perform.

Also, do not forget the Lost Nomads Festival, scheduled in June. This new edition will have the theme “A Night in the Square.” This night will give festival-goers an exceptional experience in the world of music, nourishing the soul and spirit with the deepest and most mystical traditions of Morocco.
