The relationship between France and Morocco is ‘unique’, affirmed the French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, Stéphane Séjourné, during his meeting on Tuesday in Paris with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita.

“The dynamic opened by my recent visit to Morocco continues today with a working session with my counterpart, Nasser Bourita. The relationship between France and Morocco is unique!” wrote Mr. Séjourné on his X account.

The French minister had made a visit to Morocco at the end of February, as part of the strong determination of HM King Mohammed VI and French President Emmanuel Macron to boost the strategic bilateral partnership on solid grounds, capitalizing on the strong historical and human foundations upon which these relations are built, and taking advantage of the progress made within this partnership over the decades.
