Casamémoire, known for its actions to promote 20th century heritage, is organizing the 4th edition of the Casablanca Heritage Nights. The program includes three discovery circuits.
The Casamémoire Association is organizing the Casablanca Heritage Nights during two evenings of the month of Ramadan, on March 22 and 23, 2024 starting at 9pm. This essential event for the city will offer residents and visitors the opportunity to rediscover the architectural and cultural richness of Casablanca, at night, through guided tours.
“Casamémoire is known for its actions to promote 20th century heritage. Thus, it offers three discovery circuits for this edition of the Heritage Nights: the old Medina, starting from Sqala (Boulevard des Almohades), the city center, meeting at Mohammed V square in front of the fountain, the Habous neighborhood, starting in front of the headquarters of the Casablanca-Settat region (former Mahkama du pacha) on Victor Hugo Boulevard,” the organizers said.
Participants will be able to explore the history of the old Medina of Casablanca, admire the urban landscape of the city’s historic center, and immerse themselves in the traditional architecture of the Habous neighborhood. Beyond just a guided tour, the Casablanca Heritage Nights, according to the same source, offer a friendly and cultural experience, allowing participants to rediscover the city and its night atmospheres while sharing their passion for Casablanca’s history and heritage.
Building on the great success of the three previous editions, which attracted a large and curious audience, Casamémoire aims to offer an even richer immersive experience for this fourth edition. No reservation is required to participate in these guided night walks.
