The women’s national football team will face their Zambian counterparts on April 5 and 9, for the first and second leg matches of the fourth and final round of qualifications for the Olympic Games (Paris-2024). According to a statement from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, the first leg of this double confrontation will take place on April 5 at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, Zambia, starting at 7:00 p.m. The return match will take place on April 9 at the SAR Prince Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat, starting at 10:00 p.m.
In the previous round, the women’s national team defeated their Tunisian counterparts, while Zambia qualified at the expense of Ghana. The Lionesses of the Atlas will try to secure one of the two qualifying spots for the next Olympics reserved for the African continent. The other spot will be claimed by the winner of the match between Nigeria and South Africa.
