The Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication – Department of Culture announced the extension until March 20, 2024 of the deadline for submitting applications for the grant program for cultural associations, artistic unions, festivals, and cultural and artistic events. This measure aims to uphold the principle of equal opportunities among project holders from different regions of the Kingdom by giving them enough time to submit their proposals, in accordance with the specifications provided by the Ministry. The concerned project holders are invited to submit their applications electronically through the dedicated digital platform “http://daam.minculture.gov.ma”.

It should be noted that since 2023, the Ministry has expanded the list of programs, activities, and cultural and artistic events benefiting from this support to encompass other areas of interest related to the promotion of cultural diversity, the strengthening of multilingualism, highlighting aspects of Moroccan identity and the international dimension of Moroccan cultural heritage, as well as its openness to other cultures.

The goal is also to highlight tangible and intangible cultural heritage by promoting its preservation and integrating it into socio-economic development, while promoting initiatives and experiences focusing on creative and digital content.

These areas also include raising awareness about the importance of reading among children, animating cultural cafes, promoting female and youth initiatives in the organization of cultural events and initiatives dedicated to rural populations.

It also includes cultural and artistic programs and activities for Moroccans living abroad, cultural initiatives for children, youth, women, and individuals with specific needs, as well as actions aimed at highlighting programs and cultural activities for migrants and refugees.
