The National Social Security Fund (CNSS) warned on Wednesday of the risks of fraud following the publication on social networks of a press release and an audio recording by individuals claiming to represent this institution.
The CNSS explained that “a press release attributed to the National Social Security Fund circulated on social networks this week, as well as an audio recording of unknown individuals claiming to represent the institution and the AMO TADAMON scheme.”
In its warning, the CNSS is cautioning that it “will pursue anyone involved in this matter and take all necessary legal measures against them.”
“To protect its insured members, the Fund warns them against the risk of providing personal data and information such as a national identity card, banking information, and the Ma CNSS application code to unreliable third parties,” warning that this data “could be used for fraudulent and malicious purposes.”
