The kick-off of the 7th edition of the Al Omrane Expo was given on Thursday in Casablanca, as part of the proximity policy advocated by the Group towards its citizen clients.

This event, which is taking place from April 18th to 21st under the auspices of the Ministry of National Territory Planning, Urbanism, Housing and City Policy, is an opportunity for interaction between the group and the general public to showcase investment opportunities for housing, land, and commercial properties.

Covering an area of 1,200 m2 and spread across several spaces, the Expo has a dedicated area for the new “Customer Experience” of the Al Omrane Group through the direct use of the “Acquisition Aid Platform.”

The Expo kicked off with an inaugural conference on the theme of “New Housing Aid Program: a real estate opportunity at your fingertips.”

Speaking on this occasion, the Secretary General of the ministry, Youssef El Hosni, emphasized that access to housing is a fundamental right for every individual and is crucial for improving the quality of life for households. He also stated that the real estate sector in Morocco has been successful over the past two decades.

He further stated that the ministry is committed to continuously improving housing conditions in Morocco, noting that inflation caused by international wars has had a significant impact on the sector in the past two years.

In response to this situation, Morocco has implemented new housing policies, including the launch of the New Direct Housing Aid Program, which aims to directly help citizens acquire housing and support the middle class in acquiring homes.

The launch of this new program represents a major advancement, especially as it is an aid program that, for the first time, does not require citizens to provide documents proving their eligibility, he said.

Mr. El Hosni praised the reforms initiated within the Al Omrane Group, particularly the digitization of various services and providing online information about the group’s products and offers, demonstrating the group’s commitment to improving citizens’ experiences and enhancing service accessibility.

On his part, the President of the Management Board of the Al Omrane Group, Housni El Ghazoui, stated that the Al Omrane Group, as a public instrument responsible for implementing Government policy in the sector, is fully committed to supporting the Ministry in the success of this strategic project in line with Royal Directives.

He also announced that the Group will deploy an ambitious housing production plan for the middle and social classes from 2024 to 2028, through its own production or in partnership with the private sector. He noted that the group has mobilized significant land reserves and financial resources dedicated to implementing its housing program within this framework.

Mr. El Ghazoui also introduced the “New Acquisition Aid Platform” available through the website www.alomane.gov.ma, which allows Moroccan citizens, whether residing in Morocco or abroad, to access information on products for sale, including location, size, price, and nearby amenities.

The platform offers various services, such as evaluating customer experience and handling complaints, ensuring an optimal user experience. This initiative fulfills the commitments of the Al Omrane Group towards proximity and transparency with citizens, as part of its digital transformation strategy to meet their expectations.

This edition of the expo will feature several other conferences on topics related to the sector, including eligibility and the acquisition process for the “New Housing Aid Program,” as well as available banking offers to support this national initiative.
