Thunderstorms with locally heavy showers and strong gusts of wind with local dust storms are forecasted on Sunday in several provinces of the Kingdom, announced the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
Locally heavy thunderstorms (25-35mm) are expected on Sunday from 00h to 14h in the provinces of Midelt, Errachidia, Figuig, Tinghir, and Boulmane, as mentioned in the same source in this special “orange” level vigilance bulletin.
Strong gusts of wind with local dust storms (75/90 km/h) are forecasted from Saturday at 12:30 to Sunday at 19h in the provinces of Fahs-Anjra, Tanger, Figuig, Boulemane, Midelt, Ifrane, Sefrou, Khenifra, Beni Mellal, Errachidia, Zagora, Ouarzazate, Azilal, and Al Haouz.
The same phenomenon (75/90 km/h) is also expected on Sunday from 03h to 19h in the provinces of Oujda-Angad, Guercif, Taourirt, Jerada, El Hajeb, and Taza, continues the same source in an “orange” level vigilance bulletin.
