After exhibiting in Belgium, the renowned Moroccan artist-painter is preparing to unveil her exhibition “Balance and Harmony Bis” in Spain from March 8 to May 8, 2024.
Moroccan artist-painter Lamia El Guermai announces her upcoming painting exhibition organized in partnership with Julia’artisan. Entitled “Balance and Harmony Bis”, this exhibition promises to captivate art enthusiasts and the curious alike. It offers an opportunity for Spanish art lovers to discover the exceptional work of this artist. “It will be part of the artistic tour “Sint Truden” from December 5, 2023 to February 5, 2024 in Sint Truden, Belgium, and will continue in Marbella, Spain, from Saturday, March 8 to May 8, 2024,” the artist says.
Lamia El Guermai draws inspiration from the relationship between Man and his environment. Her captivating and unique art evokes deep emotions in viewers. She is known for her exceptional artistic talent and ability to express complex emotions through her creations. Her captivating works explore the themes of balance and harmony, inviting viewers to introspection and appreciation of the beauty that surrounds us.
The fusion of traditional and contemporary techniques in her unique style creates a fascinating visual experience. Her paintings were exhibited in numerous art galleries in 2023 such as Artem-Casablanca, Laredo art Galerie- Casablanca, in Cairo. They garnered admiration from critics and art enthusiasts. In 2024, the artist received an honorary mention from the Mondial Art Academia for the international art professionals’ prize in 2023 in the Contemporary Figuration category.
This competition brought together more than 350 professional artists from around the world presided over by 33 juries scattered across the globe. Lamia El Guermai was the only Moroccan Arab and African woman selected for this competition. On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, the artist presents her works in a collective exhibition at INEX By Chaoui Bois. She has a strong message for women: A woman is like a work of art, complex and captivating. She juggles a thousand roles, from juggling the responsibilities of Wonder Woman to the acrobatic performance of balancing between work, family, and passions. She is a symphony of contradictions, able to switch from laughter to tears in the blink of an eye. Her creativity surpasses the limits of imagination, her problem-solving ability is as magical as turning a pumpkin into a carriage.
