The Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament and government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas, announced the resumption of social dialogue next Tuesday with the trade unions.

In response to a question about social dialogue and the nature of the issues on the negotiating table, during a press conference following Thursday’s government council meeting, Mr. Baitas specified that after the postponement last September of the previous round due to the Al Haouz earthquake, the government will meet with the unions to discuss a range of issues.

“The government is committed to conducting intense consultations with unions and trade unions regarding the major reforms being undertaken by the Executive, as well as on urgent issues,” assured Mr. Baitas, also mentioning efforts to institutionalize social dialogue.
