The friendly battle of friendship between Morocco and France in breaking, an initiative of the French Institute of Morocco, the Royal Moroccan Federation of Aerobic Sports, Hip Hop Fitness and Related Disciplines, and the French Dance Federation, will be organized on April 17th at the Mohammed V Theater in Rabat.
This friendly breaking event between France and Morocco will see the participation of 12 B-girls and B-boys, according to the organizers in a press release.
“With 100 days to go until the opening of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which will include Breaking for the first time in history, a French team of Breakers will face off against a Moroccan team in friendly battles between B-Girls and B-Boys, including several qualified for the Olympics,” the same source explains.
This event, open to all and free of charge, will take place at the Mohammed V Theater and will consist of a qualifying phase (exhibitions), artistic sequences, a final phase, and a medal ceremony to offer the audience an “unforgettable” show, the press release notes.
Morocco will be represented at this event by Fatima Zahra Elmamouny, also known as B-Girl Elmamouny, and Bilal Mellakh, also known as B-Boy Billy, both qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics at the African Championships, as well as B-Girls Alma, B-Fly, and B-Boys Ofazzy and Cri6.
